What type of information we have 

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details of event delegates and those providing information through our online ‘Contact Us’ form)
  • Employee data (such as contact, financial and personal details)
  • Supplier data, personal identifiers, contacts, characteristics and financial details linked to identifiable individuals (such as those of contacts working for suppliers, sole traders etc)
  • Website user identifiers, (such as usage stats, cookies, IP addresses etc)

 

How we get the information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • Provided directly by individuals completing and submitting our online ‘Contact Us’ form or registering online for an event.
  • Provided by our clients, by means of confirming delegates at an event.
  • Provided by employees as part of the employee onboarding and ongoing employment, payment and taxation process.
  • Provided by suppliers, by means of allowing us to work together to deliver an event for a client.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • We track all visits and usage of our website www.mcreat.co.uk through internet usage analytics tools and cookies.  This allows us to understand who has visited our website, what pages they viewed and other usage stats. 

 

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are: 

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting info@mcreat.co.uk

(b) We have a contractual obligation.

(c) We have a legal obligation.

(d) We have a legitimate interest.

 

What we do with the information we have

We use the information that you have given us in order to: 

  • Create quotes and proposals for potential services you require
  • Carry out services once a contract is agreed
  • Onboard employees and carry out our legal obligations as an employer of people in line with UK Employment Law 
  • Research, source and work alongside selected third party suppliers to deliver quotes and services agreed with mCreat clients.

We may share this information with carefully selected suppliers, in order to be able to create the quotes / proposals or to deliver the services requested and agreed.

 

How we store your information 

Your information is securely stored on computers, laptops, paper and in a cloud-based database, accessible by mCreat. 

We keep:

Delegate personal information for a maximum of 1 month after the date of the event, this includes any information held at any suppliers used to deliver the event. 

‘Contact Us’ personal information for a period of 2 years from submission of the online form.

Employee personal information for a period of 5 years.

Supplier personal information for a period of 2 years after that supplier was last used.  

 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 

Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
